Chuck Gerba is a partner at Expense Management Advisors, LLC (EMA). He began his leadership career in 1988 with a division of Pitney Bowes. In 1994, Chuck became District Manager of Boise Cascade in the Cincinnati, Louisville and Lexington, KY markets growing a "greenfield" operation to 16 million dollars from 1994 through 1999. As General Manager for Boise Cascade in Pittsburgh, PA serving the Ohio Valley market, he lead that team and operation from 23 million in revenue to 73 million from 1999 through 2006. By 2006, Chuck was promoted to VP/GM of the then, third largest production operation for the new Office Max, formerly Boise Cascade Corporation serving the Mid Atlantic Region from the Philadelphia facility. Chuck managed the top producing ROI facility with over 200 million in revenues, over 300 EE's and a return to the shareholder of over 1.3 million per month. He left Office Max, in 2008, to form SWAT Consulting as an independent, serving Private Equity, Venture Capital and Fortune 500 firms. In 2011, Chuck co-founded EMA, LLC. Chuck is EVA, LEAN and ABCM certified with a BS Degree in Management from Waynesburg University.




Peter Kulka is a Partner of Expense Management Advisors, LLC  (EMA). Peter’s career prior to EMA spans 33 years in the Consumer Packaged Goods, Consumer Electronics and Business Services industries. He has held a variety of VP/General Management and field leadership positions with Hershey Chocolate Company, Polaroid Corporation, Boise Cascade Corporation and OfficeMax Inc. Peter has significant experience in Senior Level Sales Leadership, Business Development and Operational Management where he had full P&L responsibility for major markets with revenue responsibility over $200 million producing net income in excess of $12 million. Peter has successfully lead organizations through turnaround initiatives and consistently produced revenue and net income results that were in the top 5% of the company’s performance.




Burk FitzPatrick is a Partner of Expense Management Advisors, LLC (EMA). Burk began his career with Fast Forms Plus in 1988.  After 5 years he changed the name to HBF Graphics. HBF Graphics partnered with different printing companies in order to service more and larger clients.  As the printing business changed, and with the arrival of the digital age, HBF’s products and services  included graphic design, branding, promotions, and direct mail. Burk’s experience in the printing business and his long- standing relationships with producers, designers and industry experts helped him to land accounts with AARP, Glaxo-Smith Kline, Wyeth Labs, United Healthcare, and the PGA. In 2010, seeing an opportunity to offer businesses cost reduction services in areas other than printing, Burk partnered with Chuck Gerba and Pete Kulka in 2011 to form SWAT CCR, LLC. Swat was reorganized in 2012 as Expense Management Advisors, LLC. Burk brings to EMA his expertise in the printing and marketing as well as his talents in finding and partnering with subject matter experts.
